The Teams Approach
Ashfield Boys
High School has developed an innovative programme which is
designed to improve the educational performance of our
students. The project involves groups of teachers working
collaboratively with groups of students. With Year 7
students the project primarily ensures a positive and
successful transition to High School. With Year 8 students
the project builds on the personalised link between students
and their Team teachers to focus on improved learning
outcomes.

How
does it work? |

implement strategies for the development of students’ academic
skills across Key Learning Areas.

-
The
Team Teachers meet regularly to discuss, monitor and assess
students’ academic and social development.

They
plan integrated lessons as well as individual programs for
students in need.
-
They
